A New Beginning

I know I haven't posted in a while but I have had alot of things going on lately....Anyhoo I am back! My BFF is getting married and it is making me think about new beginnings. Actually weddings AND babies make me think of new beginnings. So I want to have a new beginning to my blogging....a renewed sense of the real life of a supermom. Even though the truth is a supermom is ALWAYS busy I want to take time to devote to sharing on my blog.......... so here is to new beginnings...........blogs and everything else too!

On a lighter and more exciting note......My baby is starting school! Actually he is only in half day Pre-K but it is REAL school. The school is great and I'm excited about PTA. Now I have to get into the swing of things having a school age kid...KINDA...LOL!

AND.....My baby boy is having a birthday soon so I have to get ready to throw the best party ever.....or at least for right now because this will be the first party that school friends will be invited to...I hope it goes well.

This is the time of year that everything goes really fast....I'll give you an idea of what I'm talking about................

It's going to be sooooo busy but I have to remember to take some time to smell the roses!!!
Alot of exciting things are coming up that I'm keeping under wraps ....so hopefully I'll have some new posts with some very exciting news in the near future!!!!

VACATION

EVERY SUPERMOM NEEDS A VACATION!!! AND GUESS WHAT..... MINE HAS STARTED. ONE FULL WEEK OF NO WORK!

UNBELIEVABLE!

I can't wait to sit back and relax with the family. I don't know what I will be doing but "relaxing" is at the top of my list!

Vacations should be mandatory for EVERY supermom!

What Every Supermom Needs

Well if I haven't told everybody yet... I am a HUGE fan of QVC...and HSN...but QVC is definitely my favorite. Anyway so I was checking the channel to see what the presentation was and guess what it was......TEMPTATIONS OVENWARE!! The temptations line is fabulous. Ceramic dishes that go from the oven to the fridge. They come in cool colors and festive prints....I love the "Old World" style..that's the print I am collecting right now (in green). The dishes are very versatile and best of all they are VERY easy to clean.

I know this sounds like a promotional ad for QVC...but I do really love them ...I should be a spokeswoman for them. LOL!!

Anyway during the presentation (the show) they were running a special auto delivery set...DISHES ON AUTO DELIVERY!! How great is that??? Eight pieces for about $40. AND best of all every two months another eight pieces!!!!

Everyone should buy temptations!!!! I love QVC ! Every Supermom needs a set of these dishes.

Holiday Weekend

This weekend was fabulous! We spent the entire weekend at the marina http://www.herringtonharbour.com/....the weather held up pretty good.

We grilled everyday and ate lots and lots of seafood...my favorite.

The most eventful day was Monday in which I almost had to call 911 and spend the day in the hospital because I swallowed a fish bone!!! Can you believe it?? Supermom swalled a fish bone and spent an hour coughing and hacking and eating bread trying to get rid of it. You will never believe how I eventually got it out....My husband had to use tweezers and pick it out of my throat! GROSS!!But I am alive and well to tell the tale!

Anyway... we took the kids to the pool and Noah had a blast. I put the baby's feet in the water but he didn't like it...he would rather lay in his stroller and feel the breeze.

Good Times with Supermom, DH (stands for my dear husband), Noah, Xavier, Nana, Grandpa, and Granny!!!!

As a sidenote and because I was supposed to create a separate post but I didn't so I will add it here.....DH came to me last week and said "I was thinking..." which means ha has something IMPORTANT to say. So then he goes on to say I think you should change the name of your blog to superwife...and i say why then he says becuase you are not only a supermom but a superwife. What a sweet thing to say!!!! Even though DH doesn't believe in blogs he checks in on mine sometime and I want him to know that I appreciate his compliment!! THANK YOU DH!

I Love Target

I don't know why but I just want to talk about Target. In case you haven't figured out that I love Target....I DO!! I love everything about it. Target is a mom's Superstore...another reason to include it on my blog. Every supermom knows about Target. Whether your in need of diapers, a new shirt or even a snack....Target is the place to go. I love all things Target.

Here are a few of the things I love right now.

A cool grill that my husband would love!

A motorcycle that my oldest son would love!

(I DON'T HAVE EITHER OF THESE ITEMS BUT HOPEFULLY ONE DAY SOON...MAYBE:)

And for me......EVERYTHING! I'll take one of everything...LITERALLY!

The Never Ending To Do List

When you think of a to do list you think of a short list with a few items. Most people have a starting and ending point. Not so with a supermom (or any mom for that matter!) There is always something that needs to be done...laundry, grocery shopping(those are the things that are always on the list) and then there are the long term to do items...buy a bigger house, save for college, buy a second car! Even when you think your done...you're never really done. It just seems like the list keeps getting longer and longer. So there it is...my rant on a to do list. I currently have a to do list that is probably 2 pages long.



Anyway on to more exciting things..........DOUBLE STROLLERS!



I really want a new double stroller. Yes I already have one but it isn't new anymore...and I'm going for a new look. I really want a Peg Perego Duette (in black) but the problem is ....IT IS DEFINITLEY OUT OF MY PRICE RANGE!! It is about $900 ....I can dream though.So instead of my dream stroller I will have to get another duoglider. Dont get me wrong it is great but I would rather have a solid pattern so I will have to wait until they come out with new solid pattern.

Why Blog?

So I decided to blog because it seems like everyone is doing it...why not me. I can't write about designer clothers, fancy cars, silver spoons, or late night escapades. Honestly... I don't know a thing about any of those things. What I do know about is being a mom. I could go on for days about what I've learned being a mom and things I think someone should have told me about motherhood. I want to give comfort to other moms who feel like they are the only ones feeling overwhelmed by this thung called motherhood and to give REAL insight to others who aspire to become a mom.
